There's no perfect equation that fits all maternity clients. Some stick to dry land, don a lei po'o and glamorous gown. Some wear bikinis for a dip in the ocean. Some of our clients prefer a family session at sunrise and choose a sunset session for themselves, and some desire artistic black and white portraiture. We provide constant posing and direction to achieve the most natural, beautiful pregnancy portraits to celebrate your Maui Babymoon.

Sunrise is a popular choice for maternity portraits on Maui. The winds and waters are typically at their most calm, with minimal crowds on the beach. We recommend a sunrise session be booked early in your trip.

Sunset is a classic time for your maternity portraits. Despite this being a popular time of day for beach goers, rest assured we'll choose a great spot and edit distractions from images.

If combining family and maternity portraits, we recommend a Land & Sea Mini Session, allowing time for both family and maternity photography.

If your maternity photography vibe is less tropical pastels and more intimate, artistic edits with black and white and darker tones, our blue hour portraits are a fantastic choice.

What's a great backdrop if everything is feeling a bit out of place? We're experts at posing and that in turn creates confidence and beautiful images.

We apply our preset, crop and remove background distractions
We do a lot in post-processing, but offer the option for advanced editing if you want something additional done to your images. We love you the way you are!
