Big swell, big shells. A sunrise Maui portrait session

When a big swell comes through you’ll often find beachgoers with mesh bags collecting shells on the shoreline, but on this particular morning we had the whole beach to ourselves. The sand, once smooth and golden, was sprinkled with white pieces of coral, brown cowry shells and sea glass. What a beautiful sight to witness in the company of Nicole + Brian, celebrating their love under a Maui sunrise.
