Inspiration – creatives, are you feeling it? It’s okay if you’re not, we were there for a while, but now we’ve come out the other side.

Weeks have turned into months of unemployment when we used to enjoy shooting nearly every day. With so many cancellations mounting on top of a growing list of shoots to reschedule, it has felt great to do a few sessions this past week with friends to warm up for what we hope is a busy season to come when tourism resumes in Hawaii.

This week I’ve woken most days to our truck engine rumbling to a start as Adam backs out of the driveway before sunrise. With a bit of swell hanging around this week, he rose early today to shoot with Ayaka + Mack, newlyweds who enjoyed the ocean under a full moon.

Moments like this open the creative floodgates – we can’t operate our business now due to travel restrictions, but we can get in a few good moments feeding our creative passion, and that feels really damn good.
