This sunset beach portrait session began as a maternity shoot and ended as a surprise proposal – and Alex is the only one who knew!

As Alex and Yen walked past Adam hand-in-hand during their maternity session, Alex pulled a small black box out of his pocket and showed it to Adam on the sly. Adam realized their maternity portraits were about to transform into a surprise proposal!

Adam told Yen to face away from him and look out to sea while Alex got in position, dropping to one knee and opening the box. When she turned back around, Alex presented the ring and Yen said YES!
