Hi! We're Shawn + Adam

We're husband and wife who formed our Love + Water Photography team on Maui in 2014. Since then we've created a series of weddings and sessions from the land + sea, drawing inspiration from the gorgeous colors of Maui sunrises and sunsets.

Sunrise maternity portraits with soft pastel skies

When you roll down to the beach for a sunrise session on Maui, you’re met first with darkness before the sun slowly rises behind Haleakalā and casts a sweet, soft palette on the sky. The beach is empty and the crow of roosters and hens foraging in the grass is coupled with the soft lapping of waves on the shore. Occasionally a larger set will come through, scattering loose pieces of coral up to the high tide mark and dragging them back to the ocean once again.

Lisa + Joey’s sunrise beach maternity portraits took place on such a morning, and her gorgeous, simple white maternity gown perfectly complemented the soft tone of the sunrise sky.
