Is there anything better than shooting with clients who have an epic connection for their sunset Maui couples photography session? Katie and Steve chose a Land + Sea Full Session, our one-hour package that can take place at the start or end of the day. They were getting married at Merriman’s a couple of days after their shoot, and while we don’t photograph weddings are stoked to get the opportunity to photograph their engagement session!

We love sunset portraits on Maui because the light is warm and inviting, and the ocean just beckoning for a dip!

Sunset sessions can be a bit windier but never fear: we’re ready for it, and will provide you with plenty of information about how to make the most of those afternoon trades. We’re used to working with the conditions, and find the wind adds movement to images and provides a much-needed cool off!
