Wailea sunrise beach couples portraits
Choosing sunrise beach portraits in Wailea was a no-brainer for Erin and Joey, who met on Maui.
We met in on the beach in front of the Honua Kai Resort in Maui on July 12, 2014. Joey was skim boarding with his brother and best friend while I was lounging with my mom on the beach. When I was in the water one of the guys hanging out with Joey landed near me with the skimboard and asked if I wanted to try. I took the opportunity so it gave me the chance to approach Joey and talk to him. For the rest of that trip we spent everyday together.
The couple were not only fun to photograph, but the elements of beach and ocean perfectly suited their relationship. A full moon setting at the beginning of our session and a rainbow as it wrapped up was the icing on the cake!
