We’re always being asked where to shop on Maui for a beach portrait session. Understandably, you want to look and feel your best before your shoot! While we offer a variety of Kasia Kulenty rental gowns from our client closet, there are lots of other options to consider, too! Shopping on island is a great way to support the local economy and also try some great stuff on in person – as nice as shopping online can be, it can make finding the perfect fit difficult.

Here are a few suggestions about some local spots you can check out to shop away, whether for a dinner out, a morning at the beach, or for a beach photoshoot in Wailea!

Where to shop for your Maui maternity session

1. Mahina
   We love Mahina for low-key, breezy pieces that fit a variety of occasions. They have a few locations on Maui – the ones we frequent most often are in Paia and the Shops at Wailea. The selection at each store will be slightly different, but we never leave empty-handed! If you’re wondering where to shop for your Maui maternity session, we highly recommend checking them out!
   
2. Driftwood Maui
   This cute boutique in Makawao carries everything from women’s clothing to chic accessories and natural beaty products. With convenient parking across the street from the shop, it’s an easy and beautiful space you can pop in to when enjoying a morning upcountry. Closed Sundays – check their website for most current hours of operation.
   
3. To The Moon and Back
   Nestled in the heart of Paia, To the Moon and Back carry sweet little jewlery pieces that would be the perfect accompantyment to any outfit for your maternity session. They also stock a selection of our goodies from The Land + Sea Store, so be sure to check it out when you’re cruising around!
